The purposes of THE ALLIANCE is encompassed in the following:
1. To praise and worship God our Creator through our Lord
Jesus Christ; to propagate the
Christian faith and the full Gospel message of our Lord and Saviour Jesus
Christ as revealed in the Holy Scriptures, by the preaching and teaching of the
Bible, to present message of salvation unto the lost (the unsaved - the
unchurched) and bring them to Christ; and to build up the saved in Christian
grace and living and to have a vital part in missions; and edify and unify the
Body of Christ.
2. To operate a convention churches planted, owned, and/or maintained by THE ALLIANCE.
3. To operate an association of independent
churches, ministries, and ministers of like faith.
4. To acquire, operate and maintain churches worldwide, home
and foreign missions, church schools, Bible institutes, colleges, and
seminaries, orphanages, group homes, marriage and family discipling/counseling
ministry, pastoral care and counseling ministry, homes for the aged, and other
such benevolent and charitable institutions, as may be deemed necessary to
fulfill the objectives of THE ALLIANCE.
5.
To undertake such other and further
purposes as may be necessary to fulfill the calling of a New Testament Church
called to co-labor with the Lord in the earth, His harvest field; and to
perform all rites and ordinances of THE ALLIANCE.
6.
To teach and encourage believers to
worship and exalt Jesus Christ as Lord and King through acts of private and
corporate worship and through manner of living.
7.
To provide for preaching, teaching
and fostering the growth of the Christian faith in all places; to prepare,
certify, license, ordain and commission ministers to carry on the work of evangelism, to promote missionary
work in all places throughout the world, to bring Christian believers to
spiritual maturity.
8.
To also be of service as a voluntary fellowship association of
independent churches, ministries and ministers with common beliefs. Members under such voluntary fellowship
association status shall be free to operate without been controlled by THE
ALLIANCE. They
shall be independent, but accountable to THE ALLIANCE, making reports as required. THE ALLIANCE
shall endeavor among other benefits to provide accountability of ministry,
ministerial relationship, evangelism, training, organizational counsel and
advice to affiliated (independent) ministers, churches and organizations.
9.
THE ALLIANCE does not seek to oversee
or control its affiliate member churches and ministries which are independent,
nor desire legal holding on any property or assets of such members, with the
exception of churches, ministries and missions owned and controlled by THE ALLIANCE and those in willing submission under the full ministerial
umbrella, control and oversight of THE ALLIANCE and are governed by the Bylaws
of THE ALLIANCE. All affiliated (independent) members are
highly recommended to obtain their own liability insurance for their church or
ministry. THE ALLIANCE shall also endeavor to provide such insurance to
affiliates when available or possible.
10.
To have the right to buy, own, hold
in trust, use, sell, convey, mortgage, lease or otherwise gain, dispose of or
use such property, real or chattel, as may be required or beneficial for the
good of THE ALLIANCE.
11.
To engage in a ministry of teaching
and outreach through, books, manuals, booklets, tracts and other printed
publications, audio and videotapes, CDs and DVDs, radio, television, internet,
and other media of mass communication.
12. To collect, solicit, and accept funds or other
subscriptions; to acquire and hold real estate and such other property as the
realization of the aforesaid objectives may require.
13.
To be a religious corporation
without capital stocks and which does not contemplate pecuniary gain or profits
for its Directors, officers, and members.
14. To pursue the purposes set forth in the Articles of
Incorporation of THE ALLIANCE.
